VIVATO ATTRACTS TWO INDUSTRY VETERANS AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENTS
OF MARKETING/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND ENGINEERING
New Senior Executives Bring Extensive Cellular Deployment and
System Design Expertise to Vivato's Growing Business
SAN MATEO, Calif. - Sept. 22, 2004 - Vivato, a cellular
Wi-Fi systems infrastructure company, announced today the expansion
of its executive management team with the appointment of industry
veterans Chris DeMarche as senior vice president of marketing &
business development and Steffen Rassmussen as senior vice president
of engineering.

Previously, Rassmussen served as senior vice president of engineering
for Terawave Communications. Rasmussen brings a broad scope of business
and technical experience in the broadband multi-service access and
networking equipment industries.
DeMarche has more than twenty years of management experience at
several companies, including Pactel, Onecom/Nextel, Verio, and Vistard.
As CTO and co-founder of Verio, Chris was responsible for the building
and operation of Verio's nationwide network.
